The case for it

The Pelagos 39 combines low mass, a thin profile and a short enough span to work as a daily watch rather than a dedicated dive instrument. The sunray surfaces make it more versatile than the larger matte Pelagos.

What goes wrong

Grade 2 titanium records wear differently from steel. Inspect the case and bracelet finish, bezel lume, included rubber strap, bracelet links, clasp operation and whether plentiful supply is being presented as scarcity.

Who it fits

Best for buyers who want modern dive capability, low physical weight and a more technical alternative to the Black Bay 58.
